Neptune, Califonia, a town without a middle class.
Veronica Mars used to have it all. A billionnaire boyfriend, loads of friends and her Dad was the local sheriff. But everything turned upside down when her best friend, Lilly Kane, was murdered. As her father led the investigation and suspected Jake Kane, a loved rich Neptune buisnessman, Veronica's former friends turned against her. One year later, Keith is no longer sheriff, Veronica's Mum slipt on them and Veronica is a social outcast.
Veronica helps her father out at his PI agency, solves numerous local mysteries and continues to research the Lilly Kane murder case, convinced that the convicted murderer is innocent.
